Research, Surveys & Feasibility Studies
Opinion polls, field research, feasibility studies and benchmarking that decisions can actually rest on.
A decision built on impression costs more than the study that should have preceded it. We design valid, reliable instruments, draw samples that genuinely represent the population rather than whoever is easiest to reach, and analyse with a documented, reviewable methodology. What we hand over is not a table of numbers but a report saying what the findings mean and which decision they support.
What the service covers
Opinion Polls
Measuring how the public or a defined segment views a service, policy or initiative, with a representative sample and a stated margin of error.
Stakeholder Surveys
Measuring the views of partners, suppliers, the local community and any group affected by your work — feeding both excellence submissions and development decisions.
Field Research
In-depth interviews, focus groups and field observation to reach the reasons behind the numbers, not only the numbers.
Feasibility Studies
Market, technical and financial feasibility for new projects and initiatives, with scenarios and sensitivity analysis showing where the answer flips.
Benchmarking Studies
Comparing your performance and practices against comparable entities locally and internationally, and extracting what can genuinely be adopted in your context.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Statistical analysis of quantitative data and coding of open text, presented in charts and dashboards that serve the decision rather than decorate the report.
How we deliver
- 1
Define the Question
Agreeing the decision the study will serve — it is what determines what we measure and whom we ask.
- 2
Design the Methodology
Building and pilot-testing the instrument, and setting the sampling approach, size and collection channels.
- 3
Collect
Running collection with quality control, monitoring response rate and segment representation.
- 4
Analyse & Recommend
Analysing the findings and presenting to leadership with evidence-backed, clearly prioritised recommendations.
Frequently asked questions
How do you determine the sample size?+
From the population size, the confidence level, the acceptable margin of error, and how granular the analysis needs to be. The more segment-level detail you want, the larger the sample. We always state the size and margin of error in the report.
Do you carry out the fieldwork yourselves?+
We manage and quality-control collection, bringing in trained field researchers where scale or geographic coverage requires it. Responsibility for the methodology and data quality stays with us either way.
How long does a feasibility study take?+
Four to eight weeks for a mid-sized project, depending on market data availability and how many scenarios need modelling. We share preliminary findings ahead of the final report so the decision is not held up.
