Define and measure

  • Lean and Six Sigma principles
  • Defining the problem and the project charter
  • Voice of the customer and critical requirements
  • The data collection plan

Day 2

Analyse

  • Descriptive statistics and data display
  • Pareto and cause-and-effect diagrams
  • The five whys
  • Identifying root causes and confirming them with data

Day 3

Improve and control

  • Generating and selecting solutions
  • Piloting the solution at limited scale
  • The control plan and monitoring charts
  • Participant project presentations
